SnapAggie is a social media management application operated by Lumena Productions (“SnapAggie,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the data we access through the social media platforms you connect, and how you can review or delete it. SnapAggie is a hosted (cloud) service: unlike a purely on-device app, we store the data described below on our servers in order to publish on your behalf and sync your inbox.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
  • Connected channel data — when you connect a social account via OAuth, we store the access tokens, account/page identifiers, handle, display name, and avatar that the platform returns. We never receive or store your social platform passwords.
  • Content you create — the posts, captions, media, and schedules you compose in SnapAggie, and the publish status returned by each platform.
  • Inbox data — direct messages, comments, and mentions synced from your connected platforms so you can view and reply to them.
  • Billing information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store your subscription status, but not your full card details.
  • Usage and diagnostic data — basic logs needed to operate the service and alert you to failed posts.

2. How we use your information

We use your data solely to provide the service: to authenticate you, publish content to the channels you connect, sync and display your inbox, process your subscription, and notify you of failures. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. Data accessed through connected platforms

When you connect a platform, SnapAggie requests only the permissions needed to publish and manage content on your behalf:

  • Facebook (pages_show_list, pages_manage_posts) — to list the Pages you manage and publish posts to the Page you select.
  • Instagram (instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish) — to identify your Instagram Business/Creator account and publish content you create.
  • YouTube / Google (youtube.upload, youtube.readonly) — to identify your channel and upload videos you create.

We access this data only to perform actions you initiate. We do not access content unrelated to publishing, and we do not share platform data with third parties except the infrastructure providers described below.

Google Limited Use: SnapAggie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read it except where required for security, to comply with law, or with your explicit consent.

Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows the Meta Platform Terms.

4. AI-assisted features

SnapAggie can generate caption suggestions using a third-party AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude API). When you request a suggestion, the prompt and any content you include are sent to that provider to produce the suggestion. This content is not used to train the provider’s models.

5. Sub-processors and sharing

We share data only with the providers that run the service: our cloud hosting provider (server infrastructure), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI suggestions, as above), and the social platforms you connect (to publish your content). We disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a channel, the stored access tokens for that channel are deleted. When you delete your account, we remove your account data and associated content. See Data Deletion for how to request removal.

7. Your rights and choices

You can disconnect any channel at any time in Settings → Channels, edit or delete content you create, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at support@lumenaproductions.com.

8. Security

Access tokens and credentials are stored on our servers and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We restrict access to production data to the personnel who operate the service.

9. Children

SnapAggie is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
